My fiancè and I went to see Collateral Beauty this past weekend (which I have been dying to see, Will Smith really does it for me with this genre of movies and let me tell you, he didn't disapoint this little heart of mine) and for once we got to Cinebistro, our theatre of choice - always, too early. Luckily Cinebistro is connected to Stony Point Fashion Park, so the two of us roamed around the mall. Two fabulous pairs of sunglasses and a delicious PF Changs meal later, I realized that I have never had so many compliments on the shade of my blonde hair.
I am not talking about a generalized "I love your hairstyle" comment or a "Where did you get your hair done?" kinda compliment - I am talking about a "Wow, I love the shade of your hair. How do you get it to look like that?" Each time, I proudly responded with "YOU SHOULD GET DESSANGE PARIS CALIFORNIA BLONDE. THEY SELL IT AT TARGET AND IT DOESN'T SMELL LIKE GROSS SHIMMER LIGHTS, it smells like passion fruit." My arch nemesis is a brassy blonde and as imagined, my best friend is the perfectly balanced blonde shampoo. I am very particular about the shade of my blonde and to recieve compliments on this was a sure sign that Dessange Paris is (my) a blonde's best friend.
